Used Conn 88H Bb tenor trombone in lacquer finish, manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana, ca. 1967. Features include a .547″ rose brass handslide and 8.5″ rose brass bell flare. Instrument is in good condition for its age apart from surface scratching, some lacquer wear, and some minor dings throughout. Includes original case.
This instrument was owned and played by Henry Charles Smith, former Principal Trombonist of the Philadelphia Orchestra and noted conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra.
